Meet Miss Melanie

I'm so glad you're here! I'm Miss Melanie and I am the creator of My Create Crate™. I LOVE to CREATE all kinds of art and I also LOVE to TEACH! I created My Create Crate so I could bring creative art instruction right into your home. My Create Crate isn't just another crate. It's an art lesson in a box with all of the supplies and video instruction needed to create your masterpiece..

In addition to My Create Crate, I also own Imagine Studios in Rogers, AR where I teach art lessons, host summer camps, and have a create-your-own studio for pottery, glass fusing, canvas, and wood. I've owned Imagine Studios for 10 years and have been a teacher for 25 years.  Two years ago, my husband and I repurposed an old school bus and turned it into Imagination Station, a non-profit art studio on wheels.  We love to take the bus to schools and festivals to do ALL THE ART.

When I'm not creating or teaching, I like to read and hang out with my husband and our two dogs, Otis the Pug and Rico the Bulldog.  I have three creative kids plus a creative son-in-law (he's my photo/video expert!).
